For more than five decades Milroy’s has fitted grooms, groomsmen, prom dates and black-tie guests across Iowa — from our own Waterloo warehouse and two stores.
Milroy’s Tuxedos started in Waterloo in 1969 with a simple promise: every customer leaves in a jacket that fits. Fifty-seven years later that promise hasn’t changed — only the size of the stockroom has.
Today every rental is pulled, pressed and checked in our Waterloo warehouse, where more than 200,000 garments are kept in stock in the full size run, boys through 68 long. Because we own the inventory, we size, swap and re-fit in-house instead of waiting on a shipment.
Every rental starts with a free twenty-minute fitting with a stylist. Your measurements stay on file for the next event.
Bring a swatch or a photo. We hold vests and ties against it in daylight across 60+ core colorways and hundreds of seasonal options.
Register a wedding once and we track sizes, deposits and pickups for the whole party — including out-of-town groomsmen measured at any tuxedo shop.
A stylist measures you properly, notes it on file for next time, and shows you real garments in the light. Walk in, or book a time.
